Bracelet 107

  • 12121212 32323232
  • If you are paying extremely close attention you will notice that the bracelet in the picture doesn't exactly follow the pattern. Well, don't let that bother you too much, I was still trying to figure things out with this and I didn't have the time to make a correct one. So, it was either this or nothing at all. If nothing else, it gives a good idea of what the finished product will look like.
    1.Using the 7th threads, make 1 fk on the left, and 1 bk on the right side.
    2.With the fifth threads, make 3 fk on the left; 3 bk and 1 bk/fk on the right.
    3.With the third threads, make 5 fk on the left; 5 bk and 1 bk/fk on the right.
    4.With the first threads, make 7 fk on the left; 7 bk and 1 bk/fk on the right.
    ~~~~~
    5.With the first threads, make 7 fk on the left; 7 bk on the right.
    6.Repeat step 5 three more times, decreasing by 2 knots each time.
    ~~~~~
    7.Using the third threads, make 2 bk on the left and 2 fk on the right.
    8.Using the 5th threads, make 4 bk on the left and 4 fk on the right.
    9.Using the 7th threads, make 6 bk on the left and 6 fk on the right.
    ~~~~~
    10.With the 8th threads, make 1 fk/bk and 6 bk on the left; 6 fk on the right.
    11.Repeat step 10 three more times, decreasing by 2 knots each time.
    Macrame Books
    This is a list of Macrame books I've compiled. I'm hoping that they will be a source of inspiration for bracelet making. Knotting originated with Macrame and it's still a relevant craft. Maybe these books can help you to expand your horizons with knotting and add something new and different to your bracelets.
    I have not seen them all so I can't vouch for their contents, but I've looked at the reviews etc. and they appear to be interesting enough. The first book has a one star rating but I don't think that's really deserved. There are quite a few interesting techniques and projects there that are worth a look.
